The lift-and-slide system is the best solution for large portals, and easy operation together with a feeling of security are particular hallmarks of this system.
The lift-and-slide system can be produced in several different versions in terms of how it operates.
Below are some of the lift-and-slide system variants:

Diagram B – Both sashes open
Diagram C – three operable sashes
Diagram D – two operable sashes and one fixed sash
Diagram E – two operable sashes and two fixed sections
The tilt-and-slide system, also popularly known as the COMBI SYSTEM, works exactly like a combi door: the sash moves out of the frame and slides along special purpose-made rails.
The combi system is made from the same profiles as windows and doors, so the sealing is at the same level – and these are also the best-sealing systems.

In the classic sliding system, the sash is moved on special purpose-made profiles, along frames fitted with rails on which the sashes slide by means of rollers.
Sealing, as the name itself suggests, is achieved by means of brushes, so the thermal performance is at a lower level than the “tilt-and-slide system”; however, in terms of price this system is considered the most affordable option.
The brush-sealed sliding system is mainly used inside rooms or for glazing balconies, where thermal performance does not play the main role.
The classic sliding system is manufactured from aluminium.
