The highly stable construction of the PVC window profiles allows you to install triple glazing as well as safety glass over large areas, up to a maximum glazing thickness of 56 mm. The new Kömmerling 88, a highly insulated seven-chamber centre-seal system, already meets in its standard version the demanding energy requirements for the thermal insulation of passive houses. A heat transfer coefficient of Uf = 0.95 W/(m²K) is achieved with a glazing package just 48 mm thick. Remarkably, this insulation value is reached with steel reinforcement for maximum element dimensions and with décor profiles. With additional thermal inserts, the Kömmerling 88 PVC window system achieves a Uf value of up to 0.88 W/(m²K).
